The Amidah ("The Standing Prayer") is the main prayer in each Jewish service consisting of 19 blessings. The Amidah is also referred to as the Shemonah Esrei. The Amidah is recited at the morning, afternoon, and evening prayer services on a weekday and consists of 19 blessings.
