Amidah - Blessing 5 - For Repentance The Amidah ("The Standing Prayer") is the main prayer in each Jewish service consisting of 19 blessings. The Amidah is also referred to as the Shemonah Esrei. The Amidah is recited at the morning, afternoon, and evening prayer services on a weekday and consists of 19 blessings. The words to Blessing 5 - For Repentance of the Amidah are as follows: Amidah Blessing 5 - For Repentance Bring us back, O our father, to your Instruction; draw us near, O our King, to your service; and cause us to return to you in perfect repentance.
