Amidah - Blessing 6 - For Forgiveness
The Amidah ("The Standing Prayer") is the main prayer in each Jewish service consisting of 19 blessings. The Amidah is also referred to as the Shemonah Esrei. The Amidah is recited at the morning, afternoon, and evening prayer services on a weekday and consists of 19 blessings. The words to Blessing 6 - For Forgiveness of the Amidah are as follows: Amidah Blessing 6 - For Forgiveness Forgive us, O our Father, for we have sinned; pardon us, O our King, for we have transgressed; for you pardon and forgive. Blessed are you, O Lord, who is merciful and always ready to forgive. |
